Ferlita Macaroni Factory in Ybor City
The original Ybor City factory of the Ferlita Macaroni Co. was saved from demolition and is under restoration and rehabilitation by SALT Construction Company. Kenneth Ferlita, the factory owner's grandson is also the project's architect with Hafner Ferlita Architects. The factory was used as a pasta factory and a residence for their eight children.
